FireWire 400, 800 and USB Connectivity

Linux, or Windows PC machines via FireWire 800, FireWire

Configureable RAID Modes
The FireWireVR offers ease and flexibility in the
RAID Configuration. Performance (RAID 0), Protected (RAID
1), or JBOD can be configured from back panel.
With
configurable RAID level, you can choose RAID 0
(Performance) for intensive disk-access applications; for
example, video editing. RAID 1 (Protected) can be used for
automatically mirroring data to secure your digital content
creation.

functionality, which enables a dead drive to be swapped
out, replaced and rebuilt.

time-critical projects. The FireWireVR supports online and
offline rebuilds. User can choose offline rebuilds if the
host computer port is not available.
